PERNS RANKING SYSTEM
|
The PERNS ranking system includes the rank, team and division names, and total points gained in the PERNS system. All information compiled as of July 8th, 2008 found at corresponding league or team websites. The recording of any inaccurate information is due to the source.

| 30% of TOTAL is the club's winning percentage from their domestic league, which is their points gained from the highest possible point total - [PTS /(GP x 3)].
25% of TOTAL is the degree of difficulty of the club's domestic league:
MLS=100; USL1=90; USL2=80;
CSL=70; Provincial or State leagues=60;
Regional or City Premier Leagues=50
Regional or City First Divisions=40 ... etc.
22% of TOTAL is where the club placed in the CNSF tournament in 2007 with highest values given in order of placement following this model:
6/6 for Champions or 1st place; 5/6 for 2nd place; 4/6 for 3rd place;
3/6 for 4th place; 2/6 for Quarterfinalists or 5th-8th places;
1/6 for group stage finish or 9th-21st. Teams that do not participate receive a 0/6.
10% of TOTAL is where the club placed in the CNSF tournament in 2006 following the same point scoring model.
5% of TOTAL is where the club placed in the CNSF tournament in 2005 following the same point scoring model.
5% of TOTAL is the placement of the club in their domestic league (the amount of opposing domestic league teams the certain club is better than in their respective standings, in percent).
3% of TOTAL is the total tournament championships won by a club.
