Executive’s Message

The Croatian Sports & Community Centre of Hamilton is proud to announce that last September 2-4, 2011, we hosted the most successful CNSF soccer tournament in its 48-year history. Very many thanks to the 140+ volunteers that helped make the weekend the great achievement it was. To re-live the memories, make sure to buy a DVD or Blu-ray disc of the weekend which are available at our many events and on our website.

Approval from the City of Hamilton!

This means that we are ready to take the next steps, begin the process of selecting our contractor, and complete preparations for an August 2012 ground breaking on our new building!

Fundraising for The Centre!

All profits from hosting the 48th HNNS Tournament last September, as well as the proceeds from the sale of the old club on Kenilworth earlier in 2011 have been put towards the new building project. Add to that the many successful fundraising events in 2011 and all of the generous donations from many Croatian families, and we are pleased to announce that the construction collection campaign is approaching $400,000!

Now we are looking for more support and donations! We have enough funding to start our project but we still need more in order to help us to be able to complete the new Croatian Sports and Community Centre. To donate, please contact Mark Vuksan at 905-902-6634 or markvuksan@hotmail.com.

House League Soccer Registration

If you have kids between the age of 3-8 and would like to enroll them in our House League soccer program, come to The Centre on Feb. 18 & 26 for early registration (one child $110, two $220, three $275). After Feb. 26 the price goes up, so don’t delay!

Men’s & Women’s Bocce Leagues!

• Our rep soccer teams are currently preparing for the 2012 seasons – anyone still wishing to try out for these teams needs to contact alperinhrv15@hotmail.com.

• Our men’s 10-pin bowling league is in full swing at Stoney Creek Bowlerama. If anyone is interested in signing their name to the waiting list please stop in on Wednesday nights between 6:30-8:30 p.m. or call 905-573-2549 to speak with the bowling league President Steve Snjegotinac.
